This past weekend we had the honor of taking Maggie and Shelby’s wedding photos! We started off the day at the Cyrus Hotel in downtown Topeka, where the girls spent the morning getting ready. Maggie and her mom were SO sweet and offered us a giant pile of snacks and water which we could never say no to ha! We spent time with her family, bridesmaids, and two flower girls that could definitely strut their stuff in front of the camera which I loved!! From there, we spent a majority of the wedding day at Topeka First United Methodist Church where these two would say “I Do!”
After the ceremony the bridal party headed to Ward-Meade Park to take some fun photos and although we got sprinkled on, we JUST missed the down pour of rain after arriving at The Foundry Event Center for the evening.
Maggie looked so beautiful and was the calmest bride I’ve ever met! These two rocked the day and I’m incredibly happy for them to start their lives together!!
Maggie’s dad had a picture of them on the back of his tie! Funny story, apparently someone had accidently picked up the tie and brought it with them to the hotel so he was searching for it all morning thinking it had been lost! Thankfully, someone found it later that morning in their bag but it definitely kept him on his toes!
Maggie had some flowers from her mother’s wedding bouquet mixed in with hers! So sweet!!
