Got together with Bekah and Garrett this past week to kick off their engagement session for their wedding at the beautiful Brownstone this fall!

Bekah and Garrett met back in 2020 after she had just moved to Kansas from Tennessee! After dating for a couple of years, Bekah knew a proposal was coming soon and in the words of Garrett, “She kept snooping” to figure out when he was going to ask her hah! Because he knew she was suspicious, he came up with the excuse for them to get dressed up to go to a dinner with his family one evening. Turns out on the way to dinner, Garrett unexpectedly turned off the highway and started driving towards a surprise location!

Bekah mentioned how she immediately checked her phone for her best friend’s location and realized she had stopped sharing it. Well, that was all part of the plan because she was at the Ted Ensley Gardens lining a beautiful pathway with roses and candles for Garrett to surprise her with! Once they arrived, they walked down this path which led to the water fountain where Garrett asked her the question she had been waiting for!

I couldn’t have asked for better people who already feel like friends to explore Lee’s Summit with! I already knowwww this wedding is gonna be one for the books 😊
