Theresa and Colin’s story is special to me because I was lucky enough to see it unfold from the beginning! These two met in my church choir which they happened to join about the same time. Every time they talked, you could see sparks flying and we (the entire church) hoped they would end up together (spoiler alert – they did hah!)

The day of the proposal, Colin wanted to take Theresa to the Konza Praire in Manhattan, Kansas. However, the address got switched around and led them to Tallgrass Prairie Reserve. A little unsure of the change of plans, they began hiking and Colin was on the hunt for the perfect spot he could propose. After hiking over a hill, they found a beautiful area filled with flowers which made Theresa excited because it was gorgeous, and Colin excited because he knew this is where he would propose!

Colin told Theresa he wanted to take a picture of her with the scenery, and when she began walking ahead, he got on his knee with the ring out. Once Theresa finally turned around, she had walked almost a little too far and had to squint her eyes to see what he was doing! Soon enough, shocked, she realized what was happening and ran back saying yes!

Theresa and Colin, your wedding day was beautiful and it was SO fun to spend the day with you, your family and friends! It’s been magical to watch your love story and an absolute honor to document it!
