Dang was it cold this weekend, BUT that didn’t stop us from doing Courtney and Josh’s engagement session!
Courtney and Josh met way back in high school and by chance, happened to reconnect after college and the rest is history! Josh had the sweetest proposal and got on one knee while they were playing mini golf and planned a surprise engagement party to celebrate with their families which, HELLO so sweet!!
We spent the chilly afternoon taking photos in some of my favorite spots downtown Topeka and ended the winter shoot with some beautiful field photos at the KS History Museum.
Even spending a short amount of time taking photos, you could just tell how perfect these two are together! The way Josh held Courtney in his arms was like holding your best friend and never wanting to let them go! Not to mention they also brought their sweet dog Fiona to the session and oh my gosh she melted my heart! Her golden retriever energy reminded me of my pup and she was SUCH a sweetheart! Also, the fact she responded more to us calling her Stinky instead of her name is literally the funniest thing ha!!
Love this sweet family and can’t wait for their wedding in Lawrence this summer 😊
